Everything can be reopened in 3 steps
Corona infection rates are high, with many people in isolation or quarantine at home. Despite high infection rates, the number of hospital admissions remains stable. We are more resistant to the virus, due to vaccinations and booster shots and the built-up immunity. So the Netherlands is opening up again. Only not all at once. But in 3 steps. They are big steps though and we are taking them in quick succession.
Step 1: immediately
Effective immediately, the advice not to host more than four people at home will disappear. The advice to work from home as much as possible also changes to: work in the office for a maximum of half the working hours.
Step 2: 18 February
From Friday 18 February:
all venues in our country can reopen until 01:00 am. The corona admission ticket (3G) will remain valid until 25 February at all venues where it must already be shown. Such as in the hospitality industry, in cinemas, museums and theatres and at professional sports events.
Once inside these locations, having a fixed seat, wearing a face mask and keeping 1.5 metres away are no longer mandatory. There is also no longer a visitor norm. At locations with more than 500 people, a fixed seat and wearing a face mask when moving is still mandatory.
The isolation advice after a positive test is shortened to 5 days, provided a person has no symptoms for 24 hours.
Step 3: 25 February
We will take the final step on Friday, February 25:
Then we say goodbye to:
the mandatory 1.5-metre distance;
wearing a mouth mask

Saturday 26 June 2021
BASIC RULES REMAIN IN FORCE
Despite these positive reports, the virus is not gone. The virus is unpredictable and new variants continue to emerge. So we need to remain cautious and alert. We can do this by sticking to the basic rules:.
Hygiene remains important. Wash your hands regularly. Sneeze and cough into your elbow.
Having complaints? Stay home and get tested for corona immediately.
There are those who cannot be vaccinated or have not yet been (fully) vaccinated because it is not yet their turn. Still be careful and give each other space in crowded places. Keeping one-and-a-half metres away is still the best thing you can do to prevent the virus from spreading.
HOME VISIT AND GROUP FORMATION RESTRICTIONS DROPPED
From 26 June, there are no more restrictions on the number of visitors people can receive in their homes. The restriction on group formation will also disappear. Now, people are allowed to gather in groups of up to four people, for example in the park or in a restaurant. This rule will disappear. However, it is important to keep one and a half metres away from visitors at home and from others outside.
MOUTHPIECE OBLIGATION EXPIRES
The duty to wear mouth caps will largely lapse. Where the one-and-a-half metres really cannot be enforced, the duty to wear mouthpieces will remain. This is the case in passenger transport, in public transport and in designated areas around public transport, e.g. stations. Also at airports and on planes. And in secondary education. In contact professions, too, the obligation to wear a face mask expires. There, however, a check interview must take place.
Tuesday 14 December 2020
Update around the hard lockdown.
Physiotherapy remains accessible to everyone at FriskFysio during the lockdown.
As you have probably gathered, a hard lockdown has gone into effect immediately. There was some varying coverage for a while, but physiotherapy remains accessible to everyone as usual during the hard lockdown. This is different from earlier reporting on nu.nl and NOS. There that afternoon incorrectly stated that physiotherapists must also stop work until 19 January. This is incorrect! physiotherapy is not a contact profession, but a healthcare profession.
This means that you are simply welcome at our practice. Do you find it more comfortable to be supervised from home, or do you have complaints that could indicate corona and are therefore currently obliged to stay at home? If so, we also offer online physiotherapy consultations via video call, so that you do not fall behind in your recovery.
Any questions? Then take contact with us for more information or to make an appointment.
