FRISKFYSIO offers Ultrasound-guided injection together with your GP. After the diagnosis has been made by the physiotherapist and your GP, the injection can be given under ultrasound guidance by our specialists at FRISKFYSIO. Your GP can thus inject the fluid in exactly the right direction and at the right depth for maximum results. Within a few minutes, it is done.
Ultrasound-guided injection
What exactly is Ultrasound-guided injection?
Together with your GP or specialist, FRISKFYSIO provides ultrasound-guided injections. Why? The reason is that the success rate of the given injection is many times higher when injected under ultrasound guidance. On the one hand, there is a clear diagnosis because the condition is visible on the ultrasound and, on the other hand, your GP injects exactly in the right structure, in the right direction and at the right depth. As a result, the injection is given safely and can be repeated if required.
Fluid injection is injected topically in many conditions involving local inflammatory symptoms. Examples include joint pain, bursitis, tendinitis, tendonitis, tendonitis, nerve entrapment, gout, rheumatoid arthritis.
An injection for inflammation can quickly reduce pain. This often allows you to move the joint better, which is good for recovery. The injection works for several weeks. This medicine does not cure the condition, but will make you suffer much less for several weeks. In the meantime, the condition may improve on its own or with the help of physiotherapy. Diagnosis can also be carried out by FRISKFYSIO through injections. By injecting tissue with a local anaesthetic, it is also possible to distinguish which structure is responsible for the pain. Ask your doctor about the further effect of the fluid to be injected that may be applicable in your situation.
