It seems like these days we have to leave a rating for everything we do, but why? In this blog, we as physiotherapists would like to explain to you why we too find it so valuable that you leave your experience.
What is an experience?
An experience, also known as a review, review or rating, is an assessment you give about a product or service. It is a way of sharing your opinion, informing others and getting them excited about your experience. For example, after dining at a restaurant, you are often asked about your experience so you can let others know what you thought of it and whether you would recommend it. This also applies to physiotherapy. By leaving an experience about the practice, physiotherapist or treatment, others can better consider which practice to choose.
Why is an experience important?
Reliability
Many experiences contribute to the trustworthiness of our practice. Both positive and negative feedback plays a crucial role in building trust with potential patients. At a time when we often tend to consult online reviews before buying a product or service, experiences are an important indicator of a practice's reputation. It gives potential patients an idea of what to expect and how other people have experienced our therapists and treatments.
Customer engagement
Leaving an experience also shows your commitment to our practice. Physiotherapy often involves a series of treatments and the fact that you take the time to share your experiences shows that you value the practice and would recommend it to others. This level of engagement is valuable to us because it shows that we are having a positive impact on our patients' lives and are willing to share it with others.
Feedback for improvement
While we naturally like to receive positive feedback, we are also aware that experiences are not always favourable. However, negative feedback can be just as valuable, as it gives us the opportunity to grow and improve. It provides insight into areas where we can make adjustments to provide an even better experience for our patients. By seeing experiences as a means of improvement, we can continuously strive to provide the best care and exceed our patients' expectations.
