There are many types of hip pain, for instance you can distinguish specific symptoms from nonspecific ones and symptoms can be either acute or chronic.

Because not every hip complaint is the same, every complaint also has a different cause. Also, the cause may differ from person to person and from condition to condition. Nevertheless, there are also general factors that increase the risk of hip pain. These include:
