Temperatures are rising and it's very hot outside! This means: drinking lots of water! With these temperatures, you are tempted to quickly empty a bottle of water. While this can be very tempting and water is of course good for each, it is not wise to drink a lot at once. Why this is not good for you, you can read about it here!
When you are exercising or when temperatures rise, it is good to drink a lot of water. However, you have to be careful not to drink too much and too quickly in a row! It is much better to drink slowly. This way, you give your body a chance to absorb fluids better and faster. Gluttony only makes your bladder fill up faster.
So how best to drink?
Your body absorbs fluids best when you take a few small sips at a time. Try taking half a litre of water for an hour for yourself. During exercise, you can also choose to drink energy drinks for extra energy. It is important not to drink too many of these. Why not? Because these drinks contain a large amount of sugars and have strong acidity, which increases the risk of tooth decay. Therefore, drink a sip of water every now and then too!
