ACTIVE BANDAGE WITH RIBS
The active GenuTrain S bandage with lateral boning supports the knee joint in cases of mild instability, arthritis or gonarthrosis. An integrated, ring-shaped viscoelastic pad surrounds the patella and prevents knee pain at the front of the knee joint. The combination of hinges and inelastic Velcro straps of the GenuTrain S give the knee additional support.

The ribs on the side of the GenuTrain S are fitted with hinges. By heating the hinges, they can be slightly deformed and thus anatomically adjusted. This supports the knee in its movements and makes it more stable.
An annular viscoelastic pad is attached to the front of the brace. This ring rests around the outside of the kneecap and directs pain away from the front to the soft tissues of the knee. At the bottom of the pad are two studs, called hoffa pads, which exert pressure on the hoffa fatty bodies, further relieving pressure on the kneecap. Moving the knee creates a massage effect that stimulates circulation.
