Profile:
My name is Luke van Braak, I am 21 years old and studying physiotherapy at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. Since February 2025, I have been doing my senior internship at FRISKFYSIO, where I get the chance to apply my knowledge in practice and further develop myself as a future physiotherapist.
I live in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel and have always had a keen interest in movement and health. This passion eventually led me to study physiotherapy, with the aim of successfully completing my studies and entering the professional field with enthusiasm.
Besides my studies, sport plays an important role in my life. I play football, do regular strength training at the gym and occasionally play a game of padel. In the past, I played several other sports, which further strengthened my interest in the human body and injury prevention. As a result, physiotherapy felt like the perfect
combination of my interests.
During my internship, I want to not only improve my clinical skills, but also further develop my communication and diagnostic skills. I find it important to look not only at the complaint, but also at the underlying factors affecting their recovery. My goal is to guide patients in their recovery process in the best possible way and motivate them to stay active so that they become stronger and healthier in the long run. My motto in doing so is: use it or lose it!
