Profile:
My name is Marlou de Vries and I graduated in physiotherapy from the Hogeschool Leiden. After graduating, I enthusiastically started working at FRISKFYSIO, where I started working as an (oedema) physiotherapist and dry needling specialist. Working at FRISKFYSIO gives me the opportunity to work with a professional and dedicated team, which makes it possible to provide the best care to my patients. At FRISKFYSIO, personal care is key, which is an important motivation for me to perform my work with enthusiasm every day.
As a physiotherapist, I am a hardworking, inquisitive and precise person. I am always open to new knowledge and techniques, as I believe it is essential to keep developing constantly as a healthcare professional. This enables me to apply the most up-to-date and effective treatment methods. My critical eye helps me to properly identify each patient's needs and support them optimally in their recovery process.
It gives me great satisfaction to help people alleviate their symptoms and guide them towards better physical well-being. It is this passion that motivated me to become a physiotherapist. The beauty of our profession is that every day you can make a difference in people's lives, both physically and emotionally.
In my private life, my family comes first, and I am grateful for the support and company of friends and loved ones. In my spare time, I am a real film buff: I love spending time at the cinema or watching films and series in my spare time. It is a way for me to relax and feed my creativity. I also find it important to maintain a healthy balance between work and relaxation, so that I can provide the best care to my patients with energy and focus.
