(Sports) dietician
My name is Myrthe Rooijendijk-Rebattu and I am a passionate dietitian with broad experience in nutrition, health and sports. In 2008, I completed my studies in Nutrition & Dietetics at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. During my studies and in the years that followed, I developed myself as an expert in the field of nutrition and dietetics, with a focus on both general health and sports nutrition. Since graduating, I have been working as a dietician in various healthcare institutions, organisations and companies. This has given me extensive experience in supporting clients with diverse needs. From weight loss to supporting people with chronic conditions, I have always provided customised care and am proud of the positive impact I have been able to make on my clients' health.
In May 2017, I graduated as a Sports Dietitian, which further deepened my knowledge of the relationship between nutrition and exercise. This specialisation has enabled me to optimally guide athletes, both recreational and top-level, to improve their performance. As an athlete myself, I understand better than anyone the power of nutrition in achieving sporting goals. In fact, I am an avid athlete and have competed at the highest level as a point-fighter (semi-contact kickboxing). This experience has increased my understanding of the mental and physical demands of (top) athletes. I recognise the winner's mentality of athletes and understand that optimal performance is a combination of hard work, mental perseverance and, last but not least, the right nutrition.

Together with FRISKFYSIO's dynamic and multidisciplinary team, I enjoy working to achieve the maximum effect for my clients. My experience as a dietitian, combined with my knowledge as a sports dietitian, enables me to provide nutritional advice that is not only scientifically based, but also practically applicable and tailored to each client's personal needs and goals.

All athletes - from beginners to elite athletes - benefit from an optimised, personalised nutrition plan. In my work, it is important to me that the advice I give is not only effective, but also enjoyable and achievable for my clients. I am convinced that healthy eating does not have to be boring or restrictive, but can be fun and delicious. I have a great passion for cooking and eating, and always try to provide recipes and meal recommendations that are tasty, varied and nutritious.
I also find it important to listen carefully to clients in my work. Everyone has their own story and background, and sometimes there are other factors at play in life that influence the choices someone makes around nutrition. I not only offer expert advice, but am also a listening ear and the 'big stick' when needed. It is important to me that my clients feel supported in their journey, both mentally and physically. Sometimes it is not just about achieving the goal, but also about the process and the motivation to persevere.
My goal is to help people improve their health and well-being through the right food choices.
