My profile:
Hello, my name is Noud Weijmans and I am a physiotherapist and branch manager at FRISKFYSIO Paramedical Centre in Amstelveen. My interest in sports and movement has always fascinated me from a young age, and this passion eventually led me to the profession of physiotherapy. As a sports enthusiast and movement expert, I understand better than anyone how important it is to return to your sporting pursuits and daily activities quickly and responsibly after an injury.
At FRISKFYSIO, a personal and tailored approach to physiotherapy is key. As a physiotherapist, I approach each client from a holistic perspective. My focus is not only on relieving pain symptoms, but mainly on understanding the underlying causes of physical problems. By accurately analysing how the body functions and what the client's specific needs are, I can provide lasting solutions aimed at restoring and optimising overall physical fitness. Each treatment is fully tailored to the client's personal goals and specific situation. In this process, I use advanced techniques, including ultrasound, to provide a detailed and accurate diagnosis, which forms the basis for targeted and effective treatments.
Besides working as a physiotherapist, I am also responsible for the day-to-day operations of FRISKFYSIO Paramedic Centre. As branch manager, I am responsible for making sure the daily operation runs smoothly, lighting up the team, and ensuring the high quality standards we maintain within our centre. It is important to me to create an environment where both clients and staff feel optimally supported.
In my spare time, I can be found at the gym a lot, where I maintain my own fitness and continue to work on my physical limits. I also enjoy running, cycling and snowboarding, activities that give me energy and further enhance my own knowledge and experience of sports and exercise.
My mission is not just to treat injuries, but to help people get the best out of themselves, both physically and mentally. Whether you are recovering from an injury, want to work on your fitness preventively, or just want to keep moving responsibly, I am ready to guide you on your journey to recovery and optimal health.
