Ruairi

My name is Ruairi. After completing my senior internship at FRISKFYSIO in the first semester of 2024, I then started working here as a physiotherapy assistant.
I am currently in my fourth year of study at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam in the Physiotherapy programme. I combine working on my thesis with working in practice.

Playing fanatical sports in kickboxing and football often led me to the physiotherapist. The mixed work of treatments in a room and active participation during sports is what attracted me to this profession.

My passion lies in sports physiotherapy, especially rehabilitating people through hands-on treatment and dynamic exercise therapy.
But I am certainly curious to learn all sorts of things regarding complaints, pathways and treatments.
