By now, we have known about the coronavirus for a year. No one could have foreseen what we went through last year and the situation we are still in today. Research has shown that mainly older people and people with chronic illnesses are using physiotherapy less. This is because of the fear of contracting the virus anyway. We find this very regrettable, because it is so important to keep moving and working on your recovery. You can still visit the physiotherapist safely. We make every effort to ensure your safety. Strict measures are in place within our practice to minimise the risk of infection. Which exactly are these? We explain it again for you.
The 1.5m measure
We cannot guarantee keeping 1.5 metres during the treatment itself. However, we do ensure that we keep a good distance from your face and wear a mouth mask at all times and ask you to do the same. Unfortunately, we still have to decline shaking hands when greeting you. We will welcome you with open arms and hopefully, despite the face mask, you will see that we greet you with a smile.
The hygiene measures
Because the 1.5 metres is difficult to guarantee during the treatment itself, we are extra strict about the hygiene measures taken in the practice. This starts with personal hygiene: washing and/or disinfecting hands. We also always wear a mouth mask to prevent spreading. We expect the same from you. In addition, we would like to ask you to bring a large bath towel. This will keep the treatment table clean and reduce the risk of infection. Of course, the practice rooms are continuously cleaned with disinfectant detergents.
Safe your visit to our practice
We ask all our patients to come to the practice alone. Should you need accompaniment, we ask that your company can wait outside for a while until you are ready. We ask you not to come to our practice too early. This way we avoid crowded waiting rooms. Are you a bit early and not yet your turn? Then you can wait in our waiting room. This is fully equipped according to RIVM guidelines. Of course, we do not want people who may have the coronavirus to come to our practice. So, do you have complaints? Give us a call, we can optionally convert the appointment to an online consultation so that you still get the guidance you want.
Take advantage of online physiotherapy!
Are you unable to come to our practice? No problem! This is because we also offer online physiotherapy. This also allows us to provide you with safe remote online support, exercises and alleviate your symptoms.
